Saving Recipes from Around the Web & Social Media
What is this feature?
You can now save recipes from countless supported food sites directly to your MyRecipes account. Plus, with a paid MyRecipes+ membership in the MyRecipes app, you can turn social media posts from Instagram and TikTok into cookable, savable recipes. It’s your one place to keep everything you love to cook—no messy bookmarks or screenshots to deal with!
How do I save a recipe?
From Food Websites: Just copy the recipe link from the site and paste it into the Save field in the Add a New Recipe box on MyRecipes. In just a few seconds, it will appear in your Saves.
From Social Media (Instagram & TikTok): Open the post in your Instagram or TikTok app, tap the Share/Send to icon, select the MyRecipes app icon, and let our app import and transform the post into a recipe card.

What happens when I save a recipe?
MyRecipes creates a recipe card in your Saves. For web recipes and social posts, your version always maintains a link back to the publisher's site or original social media post so you can view original author notes and comments anytime.
My recipe didn’t save. Why not?
A web recipe might not save if the original site blocks saving, the recipe is behind a paywall, there’s a connection issue, or the site doesn’t use standard recipe formatting. If that happens, you’ll see an error message letting you know.
Note: Saving recipes directly from Instagram and TikTok requires an active MyRecipes+ subscription.
