Using Search
Finding new culinary inspiration or locating a dish you’ve already saved is simple with the search tools on MyRecipes. Whether you are browsing our full catalog of recipes or looking through your personal recipe box, here is everything you need to know about using search.
Searching Across MyRecipes
MyRecipes gives you access to a library of over 100,000 trusted recipes from top food brands—including Allrecipes, Food & Wine, EatingWell, Southern Living, Serious Eats, and more.
How to Search: Enter key terms, ingredients, or a full or partial recipe name into the main Search box at the top of the screen.
Filter Results: Search results will return matching ideas from across supported food brands, allowing you to quickly discover new dishes to add to your collection.
Searching Your Saved Recipes
Looking for a specific dish you saved in the past?
Quick Search: Type a partial or full recipe name into the main Search box. Matching items from your saved collection will automatically appear at the top of the screen in the Your Saves section.
Using the App: If you are using the MyRecipes app on iOS or Android, the search feature lets you search across the entire 100K+ recipe database and specifically breaks out your results so you can filter and narrow them down to recipes you have already saved.
Sorting and Filtering Your Collection
While MyRecipes does not currently support searching within individual custom collections, you can easily filter and reorder your saved library to find what you need:
Navigate to your Saves & Collections page by clicking Saves in the upper right corner of the site.
Locate the filter tool on the left side of the screen above your saved recipes.
Sort All Saves using any of the following options:
