What is MyRecipes?

MyRecipes is a digital recipe collection site that bridges the gap between inspiration and action for home cooks of all skill levels. Instantly save and organize recipes from the world’s most trusted recipe sites like Allrecipes, Food & Wine, EatingWell, Southern Living and more!

What do I get with MyRecipes that I don’t already have with Allrecipes? What is the difference between MyRecipes and Allrecipes?

Allrecipes is one of the largest online recipe communities, where home cooks share, review, and discover a wide variety of recipes. MyRecipes lets you organize and save recipes from across your favorite People Inc. food brands.

Will my saved recipes and collections on Allrecipes be lost or compromised when they are moved to MyRecipes?

No, not to worry!  All of your saved recipes and collections will be automatically moved to your MyRecipes account.

Will my personal recipes on Allrecipes appear on MyRecipes?

No.  Your personal recipes will remain on Allrecipes and can be found by accessing your profile, however you will have the option to save them to a collection and access them on MyRecipes.  To save your personal recipes to MyRecipes, simply add them to your Saves and collections. Once you have done that, a reference to your personal recipe will appear in a collection on MyRecipes! 

Will my collections continue to be part of my Profile on Allrecipes?

Your Allrecipes Profile will contain your recent activity such as recipes you’ve submitted, rated and reviewed. It will also contain your personal recipes. All of your collections will be stored on MyRecipes.

Can I just ignore this change and go on saving recipes on Allrecipes as I have before?

No. Our new way of saving recipes applies to all Allrecipe accounts.

Do I need a password to get to my saved Allrecipes recipes and collections if they are now on MyRecipes?

No. Your Allrecipes and MyRecipes accounts are linked and utilize passwordless authentication, there is no need for you to take any additional action. 

Does MyRecipes require a fee? Or is it free?

Yes, MyRecipes’s recipe saving and collections features are free for everyone!
